Frequently Asked Questions

  • We do not discriminate against men. This community is specifically built for and catered to women and other marginalized populations. If you do not feel you fit into one of those categories but want to join coworkHERS as an ally, support, and positive addition to the community, you are welcome. We simply ask that you do not join just because it is a more affordable option in Portland.

In regards to guests and meetings, of course, your guests are always welcome.

  • Being downtown, unfortunately, parking is not included in membership. That said, there are many garages in the area where you can secure monthly parking and a bus stop is right outside the space should you take public transportation. Most of our members ride their bikes in, walk, take a bus, park in hourly parking, or find daily spots where available.

  • They sure are! Each member gets 10 dedicated meeting room hours to book throughout the month. Should they need more time, they are able to purchase hours at a discounted rate. All members can use the phone booths during the days well, which are first come-first serve with some restrictions so that all members have access as needed.

  • Members must cancel before the 1st of the month with at least 30 days notice. Offices do not require leases at this time (although that could change) but are required to give as much notice as possible.

  • We love dogs, and some of our members like to bring their dogs in, with limitations.

Dogs are only allowed for members, not day pass holders or room rentals.

If a member wants to bring in a dog, the dog must be good with people and other dogs, and also must be up on all their vaccines. The member must clear with the team bringing in a new dog for a trial day and after that day, the team can decide if the dog is a good fit moving forward.

If at any point the dog is disruptive to other members or the space, the team can revoke permissions at any time.
